The next few days....

I'll be off line over the next few days as we move into our new house. Basically we are done all we can do for now. Everything is packed. Few items are left out for us until Saturday. We are hoping to get possession on Friday around noon. The weather is supposed to rain most of the weekend. The timing is horrible in that respect.

In any case we will have possession by 4pm. We plan on taking a few loads of boxes over in the van. Get a head start on the kitchen stuff and the kids toys. Get Logan settled and make sure there is toilet paper in the bathroom. Nothing worse then having to go and there isn't even a sheet of toilet paper..lol Had a few times of moving and that happening....

Saturday morning will be an early start. taking the beds apart and loading the truck. I managed to get most of the cleaning done as I was packing. All that will be left is to wash the floors, vacuum and carpet clean.

There shouldn't be anything left to even pack at the last minute. We have been very organized this move...

Week to go....

This time next weekend we will be in our own home. Lots of things to take care of then. Between tidying up the new place, getting organized, unpacked. Then when that is all said and done. Decorating....But that will be the fun part that is for sure.

We plan on painting Mikayla's room first. We will worry about the rest later.

We will also celebrate Uncle Marc's birthday next weekend. Busy times I tell ya. I am sure grandma and Uncle Dave can't wait for this to be all over either. They have also been packing non stop for the past month at least.....

Moving

In a month now we'll be moving and living in a completely different area of Chilliwack. Mikayla has the most adjusting to do. She'll be attending a new school. Easier for her to make friends this way for the summer holidays. Joshua will be closer to his daycare and some of his friends.He is very excited.

I have done some packing already, got quite a bit left to do yet. Most of what is left needs to wait until the week before the move. We have been very good about keeping our lives light and not a lot of clutter.

We've also decided to hold Logan's 1st birthday before we move. We thought about having it after we moved however it wouldn't of been the same. We are planning on having a house warming party sometime after we get settled. Then before we know it Easter will be here. It's in March this year. Nice break from having it always around Mikayla's birthday.
