Yesterday we celebrated Logan turning 2. It was a really busy day between family coming at different times. Very difficult getting everyone here at the same time because everyone lives in different cities. We are all spread out through out the valley from Chilliwack to White Rock. It worked out great had 1/2 the cake around 1pm and the rest at 7:30pm....Logan was spoiled as per usual with lots of clothes, we all stayed away from toys since he has alot already and rarely plays with them anyways. Here's him in one of his new outfits from Old navy.
Sharing some experiences, life lessons, and knowledge that life has taught me and keeps teaching me.

Opps
Some of you may have read about this already on Facebook or at the very least wonder what I was talking about. On Thursday I decided to move my craft table into my bedroom and thought that would be a good place to go hide when I wanted to make a card, it would be away from little fingers and if I had to I could just leave mid stream and come back whenever instead of cleaning up everytime. Logan also has his afternoon nap in his playpen in there because we don't want to have to tell Joshua that he can't play in his room for a couple hours a day. Anyways I put Logan down for his nap, (Not realizing of course) some of my supplies were too close for him to reach and did he ever !! He got a hold of a small bottle of ink, holy cow did that ever make a big mess though !!! Everywhere !! Paul walked in to check on him and oh my, first thought was blood until he realized oh wait it's ink !! We panicked and got him cleaned up before we took pictures of him before..lol but we do have after. He is still a shade of red..lol Luckily the ink that I use from Stampin Up ! is water based.

Logan's 1 st Birthday Party...
Logan had a great birthday, he really enjoyed himself. The theme was Elmo. The cupcake cake worked out bery nicely. It tasted so good. He was spoiled as usual. He got a few outfits, Elmo story book, little car and some cash. All and all it was a fun evening.
Auntie Charlene and Cousin Kristine were here along with our good friends Tim and Annie. Everyone had a good time.
As you will see in the few pictures, Logan loved his cake too..lol

Happy Birthday Logan....

Logan is 1 years old today. It has sure been a stressful year for all. Looking back on his first year has been filled with many emotions. Logan has had a rough go with the surgeries and all the prep leading up to them. He has come along in such a short time. We are very proud of the little trooper. He was very good about all the stuff he went through. Some of it was harder on us then him. For those of you that don't know what surgeries he had, he was born with a unilateral cleft lip and palate. ( Right side of lip and palate were open) You wouldn't know it today though !! The surgeon did amazing work on him.
Happy Birthday Logan and many more to come.

Birthday Cake Update....
YAY ME!!!!!!!!! Logan has the best mommy.....LOL After countless calls all over town looking for a bakery that will make a Elmo Cupcake Cake , I finally found one. Sardis Bakery. I am really excited about it ! Hopefully it turns out ok. I still have to gather up some other decorating stuff. I wasn't going to bother with balloons and streamers but since I am ahead in the packing dept. I do have time to make this day very special for Logan.
Since we are doing Elmo for the cake. I'll have to find some Red and Yellow balloons. Still haven't figured out what we are getting him for his gift. He seems to have soo much already. I will post all about the party and have pictures too..
Stay tuned ! Well back to the party planning.

Birthday Cake...
I am working on deciding what the best cake for Logan's 1st birthday should be. I have narrowed it down to a cupcake one, however I have no idea what theme I want to go with. I was thinking Elmo but of course Safeway doesn't have the kit for those 2....I plan on calling around to other bakeries that might be able to accommodate my request.
Any ideas let me know....

Looking back
I'm sitting here thinking about the past couple years. When I think about them, all I can say is busy times. I am going to do a quick run down of the events over the last few years for those who are just tuning in. I met Paul ( Husband) for the second time actually in early summer of 2005. The first time we met was about 6 years ago or so, both seemed to want different things back then. He was living in Penticton and came down as often as he could. After a few months of dating , we decided to live together. He moved in with us here in Chilliwack. At this time we were living in a 2 bedroom apt. We spent our first Christmas together.
Valentine's 2006, Paul proposed to me. Then in May we moved into a split level 3 bedroom house. A few days after we had moved in I found out I was pregnant with Logan. I took a home test one day while Paul was at work. I was in complete shock, I mean we were trying but I never expected it to happen this fast. Paul wasn't too surprised later that day when I told him but he was happy.
September 2006 we got married. We had an outside wedding and the reception inside the hall on the same property. If I could I would get married all over again..lol I look at my dress often. I am currently trying to figure out what I can turn my dress into so I can wear it again.
Feb 11 2007 Logan Joseph was born at 6:29am at MSA General Hospital in Abbotsford. Things were up in the air for awhile with a newborn and all.
Just as we thought things were gonna calm down a bit, we were all settled into the house and the kids were all in their routines. WRONG..... We are now moving AGAIN but this time into our own house !! YES ! We have managed to qualify for a mortgage. We have gone into a house with Paul's mom.... Technically we own 1/2 a house..lol
In the last few years our lives has changed dramatically. I have become a mother of 3, wife and a homeowner. All the things that I always wanted. Paul and I both are very happy and amazed that in such a short time we have achieved all this.Neither one of us expected that everything would fall into place like it has.
One thing I haven't touched on was Paul and his employment. Within a few months of taking whatever at first when he moved. He got his current job through a friend and has been there ever since. Up to this point everything has fallen into place. Guess it is our turn. Should have bought lotto tickets too..lol
I will add some photos of the events I have mentioned.
