It has been a very long time since I wrote about what has been going on around here. We have been extremely busy with the kids. Joshua just finished a Spring session of ice skating lessons. He really enjoyed it and plans on going for a full year of it in September . Both Mikayla and Joshua are playing baseball, so there goes 4 nights a week. Logan is really becoming a little boy , keeping us on our toes. We are thinking about getting him into swimming lessons. My niece Shannon is expecting ab baby, they plan to induce her on Tuesday, this is her first. Everyone is getting really anxious about this.
I have been elected president of the school PAC for next year. I have already started reading up and familiarizing myself with all that goes on. We don't have a treasurer as of yet, hope someone volunteers or I just might have to take that on as well.....
We re homed Cooper , our golden doodle because she was just too big for our family. The family we found for her is much more suitable and seems to be enjoying her. We found a 6 month or so Affenpincher and is a better fit for us. I will post a picture of him.
Pretty much sums up what has been going on around here.
Sharing some experiences, life lessons, and knowledge that life has taught me and keeps teaching me.

Welcome to 2010
I hope everyone had a great holiday season and is ready to get back to regular routine. Our Christmas started a little earlier this year as we had decided to make a big purchase just weeks before Christmas day. We bought a 40 inch LCD TV for the living room. I was so excited leaving Future shop, it was a great feeling being THAT person loading up the van, rather then standing by watching other people leaving with the tv. Thinking back a picture leaving the store would have been a great memory. Paul of course was trying to ignore me..lol I don't know about anyone reading this but it was a thrilling moment.
As far as the rest of our holiday, we told the kids that they would only be getting a few things as the tv costed a lot so we can go nuts of gifts for everyone, they understood and were okay with it. Interesting theory and all but then how come it took all morning to open all the gifts???..lol I really thought we had done well on scaling back this year !!!......
Christmas Eve dinner was spent with my mother in law, Christmas day and new Years was spent with my sister and her family. Playing games, singing and enjoying a few drinks. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Brother in law Marc came out earlier on Christmas Day and visited with us before we headed of to my sister's. he brought gifts for us and the kids. Grandpa and Grandma came to visit on Boxing Day and saw all the gifts that the kids got. That's the run down on our holiday. We managed to go to a bruins hockey game as well, we have been meaning to go ice skating with the kids but we'll get there still got a long winter ahead of us..
Happy new year everyone......

May Long Weekend
This weekend is going to be filled with homework, yardwork, and a trip to Cultus Lake. Today is supposed to be the best day out of the whole weekend, however I'm thinking the crowd up at Cultus is going to be insane.....Mikayla has a Social Studies report to finish up and type out, as I also have a report to do the same. I am attending College for the Family Childcare certificate program. I caught the last course for this year and will continue in the Fall. I should be finished by mid spring.
This has been a very hectic time. Not sure what is worse beginning of the school year or the end. Both pretty crazy and expensive. Mikayla is graduating from Elementary school this year, and getting ready for Middle school in the fall, Joshua is finishing up K . Both very important milestones. So between school starting to wrap up, dance class, and baseball. The kids keep us hopping that is for sure...
Mikayla has had trouble with her foot lately as well. It seems that when she runs her foot pops ! It is the foot that was clubbed at birth. We took her to the doctor and in turn we were referred to a Chiropractor as our insurance company won't recognize a physio's recommendation as founded...So anyways $300.00 later she has orthopedic inserts on their way, plus we have to go shoe shopping and get her a pair of very supportive runners. Sure will be mad if someone steals them at school. Guess I have to make sure they are really ugly shoes..LOL
Glad some of you that have seen our family photos have enjoyed them.
Off I go. I will try to get back here to blog again soon !!!

Blogging...
I really haven't been into posting lately. Nothing really has been going on that has been worth blogging about. Everyone is good around here. MIL is in Ontario, her Mom passed away. I have been searching for some more part time work to do along with my 6 paper routes. Few prospects and I already had an interview. I'm currently keeping my fingers crossed that something will come that will fit nicely into my existing schedule.
Cooper is settling in nicely, few things we still have to work on with her though like chewing and wrecking everything in sight....4 years old and still acts like a puppy.hmmmmm
That is about it for now. Just thought I better blog something about the goings ons around here....
Happy Spring Break Everyone !!!

Car news....
Hey all.. Thought I would say that rather then fixing the grand am , we found a decent car and bought it. We have decided to lay the grand Am to rest. It was good to us for the last 3 years. I will post a picture of our new car once I remember to take it..lol now we are celebrating with a glass of blush wine.

Update....
Life has been extremely crazy lately and everytime I have sat down to blog, I have been interrupted. Let's see if I can finish this. Lately we have had nothing but car problems. Seems that our Grand Am is trying to tell us it's done, however we aren't done with it ..lol Seems like we'll have to get the engine replaced. it's been giving us problems for about the last few weeks. All I can say is I hate cars !!!
Kids are good. Joshua was sick all day yesterday with a fever, hope he will feel better today. Logan is certainly trying to talk, won't be too long now that he'll beable to put words together. It isn't uncommon for cleft palate babies to be delayed in speech, we think he is doing very well considering. Mikayla is enjoying her dance, both ballet and jazz. She is quite excited she got her costumes for both classes this week all getting ready for the end of the year show. The Christmas show was great, I can't wait to see the next one.
Cooper is settling in quite nicely however it seems that he is still a puupy in many ways. Chews eerything plastic in sight and stuffed animals. She was used solely as a breeding dog so we are guessing she spent alot of time kenneled. We'll have to work with her on a few things.
That is all I can think of to share for now. Will blog again soon

Happy Anniversary
Paul and I have been married for 2 years today. This morning I woke up to fresh coffee and a card leaned up to the coffee pot. He set it for when I get up just before he left for work at 5am. I thought that was sweet of him, now I wonder if he'll do that every morning..LOL
I am very lucky to have found such a great guy as Paul. I look forward to sharing many more years with him.

Big day for 2 Special Guys in my life !!!
It's my hubby's birthday today !! We celebrated it on Saturday with family. Everyone had a great time, the weather was perfect. Today is Joshua's first mini session of Kindergarten, today is when I leave him there for 1 hour. I am sorta worried about that, I hope he won't be upset when I leave. Wednesday he starts full sessions.
The weather is sure changing fast this year, sure gets cool at night. We've taken down our pool already and I pulled my tomato plants already, they ended up dying early for some reason, maybe they got a hint of frost one night.I have them all laid out ripening on the deck, but yet the neighbors still look good..Any ideas what may have happened to my plants??? They were fine until we got ALL that rain !! Here is a picture of Paul's favourite cake. Its a Bon Bon cake, little bit of filling, cake and pastry all in one. It's really good, I must admit. Unfortunately not everyone makes them, we end up having to get them from Vancouver. When we do have it, it is a real treat ! If anyone else is interested Bon Bon Bakery.

Mother's Day 2008
Today it was spent having Breakfast delivered by my hubby from Tim Horton's followed by a trip to the nursery where we picked up a few flowers, tomato and strawberry plants. Rushed home and got work planting it all before it rained too much. Luckily it actually didn't rain much at all just drizzled here and there. I also got my gift that I had been waiting for some time. A flat screen computer monitor.

Working on the To Do List...

Been 1 week...
Well we have been in our new place for a week now. It sure is starting to feel like home. It has been a busy week that is for sure between cable guys, telus guys, hotwater tank replacement, to window covering measuring, and of course we had our deck done too. Thursday we had all here at the same time doing their thing..lol What a zoo.
Mikaya did well changing schools once they had her in the right class...lol Apparently there was 2 Mikayla's starting school there...My Mikayla showed the other one didn't. The teacher thought she was awfully tall, she didn't like that she walks home and was expecting her to struggle in some areas. Mikayla was looking around the classroom and realized HEY I AM IN THE WRONG CLASS!!!! She politely tells the teacher I'm in grade 5 not 2..Well then the teacher thought that would explain alot.....So within a hour or so they had it all straightened out and she is now in her proper class and grade..lol
Other then that the move went pretty smooth. The weather did decide to co operate. We were worried about that. As soon as I find my cord to upload pictures to my computer I will post some pictures of the house moved in.....
Blog later.

Kids...
Today on the way to Joshua's daycare we stopped in at our new house. As we sat in the driveway I pointed out to Joshua his bedroom. He is very excited about moving. Mikayla is excited as well she can't wait to start her new school and be in the new house. She is quite interested in seeing how her room is gonna be set up. Logan of course will be happy to be there..lol
We already have begun a hardware store list.... We are going to have so much fun sorting stuff out and shopping for the things we need. Don't ask Paul though he may have a different opinion of it being FUN ...LOL
Anyways stay tuned to hear all about the house.....

Tax Season....
We did our taxes ourselves this year using Quicktax Standard. What a breeze that was. It's a great package it does 2 returns over 25,000 and 18 returns for under 25,000. Works out great for us.We'll get our return within 8 days. The program is 39.95 at Staples. Within 2 hours our taxes were done and efiled right to revenue Canada.
From now on this is how we'll do them.

Looking back
I'm sitting here thinking about the past couple years. When I think about them, all I can say is busy times. I am going to do a quick run down of the events over the last few years for those who are just tuning in. I met Paul ( Husband) for the second time actually in early summer of 2005. The first time we met was about 6 years ago or so, both seemed to want different things back then. He was living in Penticton and came down as often as he could. After a few months of dating , we decided to live together. He moved in with us here in Chilliwack. At this time we were living in a 2 bedroom apt. We spent our first Christmas together.
Valentine's 2006, Paul proposed to me. Then in May we moved into a split level 3 bedroom house. A few days after we had moved in I found out I was pregnant with Logan. I took a home test one day while Paul was at work. I was in complete shock, I mean we were trying but I never expected it to happen this fast. Paul wasn't too surprised later that day when I told him but he was happy.
September 2006 we got married. We had an outside wedding and the reception inside the hall on the same property. If I could I would get married all over again..lol I look at my dress often. I am currently trying to figure out what I can turn my dress into so I can wear it again.
Feb 11 2007 Logan Joseph was born at 6:29am at MSA General Hospital in Abbotsford. Things were up in the air for awhile with a newborn and all.
Just as we thought things were gonna calm down a bit, we were all settled into the house and the kids were all in their routines. WRONG..... We are now moving AGAIN but this time into our own house !! YES ! We have managed to qualify for a mortgage. We have gone into a house with Paul's mom.... Technically we own 1/2 a house..lol
In the last few years our lives has changed dramatically. I have become a mother of 3, wife and a homeowner. All the things that I always wanted. Paul and I both are very happy and amazed that in such a short time we have achieved all this.Neither one of us expected that everything would fall into place like it has.
One thing I haven't touched on was Paul and his employment. Within a few months of taking whatever at first when he moved. He got his current job through a friend and has been there ever since. Up to this point everything has fallen into place. Guess it is our turn. Should have bought lotto tickets too..lol
I will add some photos of the events I have mentioned.
