Review on Dinner Out...

Last night Paul and I went to Mr Mike's for dinner.....All I can say is over priced and under cooked. Usually after I leave a restaurant I am stuffed and have a doggy bag. Not last night, left satisfied but could certainly of ate more. The atmosphere was okay, pub like style. Similar to The Keg without the wait. We won't be going there for awhile. Have to plan to check out another restuarant soon....

Sunny but Cold

Looks very sunny outside today but quite breezy and cool, makes me want my blinds even more now. We get sun through our kitchen windows in the morning. I am very anxious to have my blinds put up, they will make the room. I get tired of being in there at night working away and having my windows bare and can see the blackness outside. The neighing house that backs our yard also is bare. That house is the one we first saw when looking to buy, it was awful, either someone actually bought it or the ppl decided to move back in ..LOL That house was located on a corner so the backyard is triangled shape..The driveway is lined with cedar trees. VERY private...too private for us. I like privacy but openess is nice too....

Anyways I have started digging up one of the garden boxes in the backyard, just have to get down on my hands and knees and finish picking all the weeds out then start preparing the ground for planting.... Blog soon...

Easter Weekend...

Getting it done....

We spent the weekend working on the kitchen, all day yesterday we worked on the ceiling and got it painted and changed the light above the kitchen sink. Today hubby replaced the light above the table with a ceiling fan. Looks much better then the crap the previous owners left us. One more light fixture to change and the kitchen will be done.

This week sometime our 2 inch wooden blinds will arrive and be installed. I can't wait. The kitchen is going to look great !

Our deck and stairs have been completed and we replaced the dishwasher.We have ordered blinds for the windows. Will post pictures once installed.

Been 1 week...

Well we have been in our new place for a week now. It sure is starting to feel like home. It has been a busy week that is for sure between cable guys, telus guys, hotwater tank replacement, to window covering measuring, and of course we had our deck done too. Thursday we had all here at the same time doing their thing..lol What a zoo.

Mikaya did well changing schools once they had her in the right class...lol Apparently there was 2 Mikayla's starting school there...My Mikayla showed the other one didn't. The teacher thought she was awfully tall, she didn't like that she walks home and was expecting her to struggle in some areas. Mikayla was looking around the classroom and realized HEY I AM IN THE WRONG CLASS!!!! She politely tells the teacher I'm in grade 5 not 2..Well then the teacher thought that would explain alot.....So within a hour or so they had it all straightened out and she is now in her proper class and grade..lol

Other then that the move went pretty smooth. The weather did decide to co operate. We were worried about that. As soon as I find my cord to upload pictures to my computer I will post some pictures of the house moved in.....
